Residential Driveway Paving

A well-paved driveway adds curb appeal and real value to your property. We install new asphalt driveways and replaces old, deteriorated pavement for homeowners throughout the greater Seattle area including Woodinville, Kirkland, Redmond, Bellevue, Bothell, Sammamish, and surrounding communities.

Every residential paving job starts with proper subbase preparation — we don't cut corners on grading and compaction, because the base is what makes asphalt last. We handle everything from demolition and haul-away of existing pavement through final compaction and cleanup.

Asphalt Overlays & Resurfacing

When your existing asphalt is structurally sound but showing surface wear — minor cracking, fading, rough texture — an overlay is a cost-effective solution. We mill the top layer, address any isolated problem areas, and apply fresh hot-mix asphalt to restore a smooth, durable surface at a fraction of full-replacement cost.

Not every surface is a candidate for an overlay. If the base has failed or there's widespread cracking, an overlay won't fix the underlying issue. We'll give you an honest assessment on-site and recommend the right solution for your budget and timeline.

Pothole Repair & Crack Filling

Deferred maintenance on asphalt always costs more in the long run. Water infiltration through cracks is the number one cause of accelerated pavement failure in Western Washington's wet climate. We perform saw-cut patching and hot-pour crack sealing to stop damage before it spreads — protecting your investment and extending the life of your pavement by years.

Service Areas for Asphalt Paving

Based in Woodinville, we serve commercial and residential asphalt paving clients throughout Western Washington including Kirkland, Redmond, Bellevue, Bothell, Kenmore, Sammamish, Issaquah, Renton, Everett, Lynnwood, Shoreline, Seattle, Duvall, Monroe, and surrounding communities. Not sure if we cover your area? Call us — we likely do.

Asphalt Paving FAQ

How thick should asphalt be for a driveway?
A residential driveway typically requires 2–3 inches of compacted asphalt over a 4–6 inch compacted gravel base. For heavier use — RVs, delivery trucks, commercial traffic — we recommend 3–4 inches. The subbase is just as critical as the asphalt itself; poor base prep is the leading cause of early pavement failure.
Should I repair or replace my asphalt?
If less than 25–30% of the surface is damaged, targeted repairs (saw-cut patching, crack sealing) are usually the better value. If more than a third of the surface has significant cracking, rutting, or base failure, full replacement will be more cost-effective long-term. We'll give you an honest assessment on-site.
How long after paving can I drive on new asphalt?
Allow 24–48 hours before foot traffic and 3–5 days before vehicle traffic. Avoid sharp turns in place and heavy vehicles for at least 14 days. Full cure takes approximately 30 days. In cooler Pacific Northwest weather, these timelines may extend slightly.
